Does your product include scanning?

Yes – scanning is integrated into every LGS product line in an effort to help reduce the cost of paper as well as increase office and interoffice efficiency.

Does your company follow legislative changes, updates, and mandates?

Yes – In addition to attending the yearly TAC Conference, LGS works closely with state organizations in order to stay abreast on any items which would impact the functionality of your software. As these items are introduced our internal software design group works to formulate a plan to integrate the requirements into the software by the required deadline.

Does your product include courts and real property?

Yes – DataPoint™ is a complete solution for your office covering real property, courts, vital statistics, and all other functionality performed within your office.

Does your county clerk product address OCA reporting?

Yes – LGS has provided all report-able fields as required by OCA within the DataPoint™ product. Through simple training your office will be able to generate and electronically submit your monthly report to OCA.

Does your product offer a Jury solutions?

Yes - DataPoint™ offers a complete Jury process which allows you to download your Jury Wheel from the SOS website, build Jury pulls, send out summons, in addition to complete Jury list maintenance from the time a Juror checks in through the Voir Dire process.

Does your district clerk product address OCA reporting?

Yes – LGS has provided all reportable fields as required by OCA within the DataPoint™ product.   Through simple training your office will be able to generate and electronically submit your monthly report to OCA.

Concerning Case Management, if the Sheriff and/or Clerks in my county have Justice Solutions or LGS software, can we share data?

Yes – ProsecutorProfessional™ allows for data sharing from the Sheriff office as well as the Clerk’s.

Concerning Hot Checks, can I apply and disburse funds how I choose?

Yes – The receipting and disbursement features were designed with the realization that every county has their own way of doing things.   Prior to your install we will sit down and review your procedure and make sure that the software is setup accordingly.

Am I able to produce a docket?

Yes – An LGS employee will work with you to design a docket that looks identical to the current docket you have or will work with you on designing a new docket should you wish to incorporate more data.   In addition to the design you will be trained on the process of adding cases to a docket for each case type.

Am I able to send letters corresponding to a docket?

Yes – DataPoint™ has the ability to print out batch notice letters to all cases on a docket for the defendant, defense attorney, and bondsman.

Does your product address OCA reporting?

Yes – LGS has provided all reportable fields as required by OCA within the Collections product.   Through simple training your office will be able to generate and electronically submit your monthly report to OCA.

Does your software handle conviction reporting with the DPS?

Yes – ICS has an automated process that generates a data file of all convictions within a date range supplied by the user.  The data file can then be uploaded through the DPS website.

Is your software able to capture all the necessary data for the monthly OCA reporting? If so, would we be able to transfer the data to OCA without having to do the report manually?

Yes – ICS is able to generate the monthly OCA report with the user only having to supply a data range.  An XML data file will also be create that can be simply uploaded using the OCA website.
